Hapunan is a short, narrative-driven horror game rooted in Filipino culture, made in Unity by a solo developer. The player steps into the shoes of Niko, a balut vendor whose ordinary task turns into a dangerous investigation. What begins as a visit to obtain a business permit slowly unfolds into a tense exploration of corruption, violence, and hidden motives in a rural barangay. Through its focused design and cultural references, the game builds tension using real-world elements and emotional stakes.

The plot of Hapunan revolves around Niko’s attempt to support his family, only to be pulled into a deeper conflict involving the Barangay Captain and his close allies.
